The planet will get hotter, billions more hungry, destructive people will be born, and either the rich will continue to become rich or there will be an international economic collapse otherwise. There is no war, no fight, because that would imply that there is some chance of victory or success. There is nothing we as individuals can do to stop the imminent and inevitable death of nature and humanity.
I'm seeking a future as a hermit because that is the only path of peace left in this world. Overpopulation and climate change are eroding the Earth to its skeleton. This community that you speak of doesn't exist except in the most remote and isolated villages.
