You guys aren't doing hard enough /out/ings. Try go on multi day excursions completely off any trail through bushwhacking relying only on GPS up through glaciated and technical peaks. You won't see a single person. If you are bitching because you are seeing fat kids on your hike, maybe your hike isn't hard enough. Even a basic mountain hike that involves scrambling and scree I wouldn't see more than a person or two past any sort of intermediate crux. Normies hate anything that is strenuous.

If you want to start getting into true /out/, use the app Peakbagger to find some mountains that people have never even climbed before in your area or stuff that requires technicality and a lot more fitness/comfortable with extreme exposure. Assuming you live somewhere that is actually /out/.
