It's super lightweight and compact when not filled because it has almost no bullshit in it, there's one small zippered pocket just above the bladder pouch on the inside but no fancy compartments or padding or shit like that. If you want to keep things organized you'll have to provide some bags or whatever you prefer yourself, but I prefer that over having a million different pockets because they always end up being the wrong size for the stuff I'm actually packing and add weight even when you're not using them.
