They are good for /out/ings. We once let her off the lease and half an hour later she came back covered in mud. God knows where she ran off to and what she did, but it seems like she thoroughly enjoyed herself. She was sociable to some, but not all other dogs. She was fiercely loyal to her owner. Any strangers would get barked at madly. She would only bite once the stranger entered into the owner's personal space, or her own personal space.
