>>1551418I love jerky. I can make about 7lbs of it for $50. Beef is expensive, and you need a really lean cut if you want it to last more than a couple weeks.
I vacuum seal it, and usually refrigerate it, but to be honest it never lasts. I'll give it out as gifts, eat it ton, and honestly, I put jerky in my ramen, or other soups. It turns it into a meal, and tastes fucking great. (bring jerky and top ramen backpacking. Lightweight, dirt cheap, and tastes as good as any backpacking meal)
