>camping near Nederland outside boulder Colorado>leave sleeping bag & a few other things at camp, hitch into Boulder >starts to rain late hard in the afternoon>walk out to hitch spot>rain starts pouring super hard right as I reach hitch, no spot to stay out of rain>Walk up road a little and dip into woods for tree cover and a smoke>as I'm smoking under a big tree that's barely keeping rain off me three guys who are camping at the same camp I am walk by on the road soaking wet in the rain with less gear than I have between all three>they stop and we smoke momentarily>they continue walking and trying to hitch>dark as fuck, raining is off and on>decide fuck hitching at night inna rain>climb up hills leading into mountains above road>find decent trees >pull lower half into backpack's largest compartment (~60l at the time)>hold shitty hoody over head for extra protection>chill till early morning playing Roms(I know I told this story here)
>bonus>get up before light and scramble down hill in rain, get more wet than previous while walking through tall grass>chill in park gazebo with homebums sleeping/hanging nearby till light comes>walk out to road, picked up by highschool kid going to school in Nederland>smokes bowl on the way up there>dropped off in Nederland>kids who were at my camp got a ride for all three of them like an hour later after we left, soaked as fuck
