I have a pellet rifle that is very strong (avg velocity of 1000 feet per second) and I wanted to get the scope hooked back on and correctly calibrate it but its too dangerous to use in my neighborhood (pellets have gone through several backyards as we don't have brick walls nor do the neighbors) and I don't want the cops called either for the noise. I figured taking it out to one of the US National Parks in the desert (nobody there to get hurt or complain about the noise and I could practice as well) but the last time I went I saw the sign on the road in that said no firing weapons allowed so I didn't bother even bringing it when I went back.
