Strong background in RF/engineering, and I like being outside.
Need skills in:
radio (propagation, modes/encoding/test&meas),
IP/routing (microwave stuff is glorified outdoor wifi),
AC and DC power circuits (batteries, generators, grounding, distribution frames, PoE, static/lightning control),
Mechanical/assembly (welding/fab, how shit comes apart and goes together),
Access (offroading, summer and winter survival, rope/tower climbing, general safety),
Security (both infotech/passwords/firewalls, and physical security, locks/codes/access control).
Test ports for RF front-end circuits. Finest 1950's technology - wire wrap connections, mechanical relays, one- to two-layer through-hole PCBAs.
