>>1385151Both plenty serviceable. I'm partial to spinfishers these days, upgraded both of my surf rods to them (v on one, vi on the big boi). Stuck with the 5500 for both, you could obviously go smaller in the lineup for most inland applications. Damn good reels though, solid construction, lubricated/greased well and the sealing system is absolutely no joke, especially the IPX5 rated vi series. Drag is phenomenal on both.
