>>609937> What is even the appeal of camping with these things? To each his own, most people aren't hard-core ultra-lite eXtreme backpacker fags (despite all the claims here on /out/...) and frequently when they get older and/or have kids, tent camping can be a hassle.
While I've had no interest in RV type campers, I have stayed in pop-up campers numerous times when deer hunting here in Michigan and IMO for that, they're far better then using tents, which can suck if the weather sucks (as you've got nowhere to hangout if it's raining/snowing) but a buddy just bought [pick related] and we used it a few weeks back for turkey hunting on his lease and I have to say, it was the shit.
I'm 48 years old and while I still use a tent (Cabela's Alaskan Guide 6-man) for summer truck camping and used it several times back in the day when hunting, it's very nice to have an RV with a comfy bed, shitter, shower, tv, stove, etc. for hunting when the weather can be problematic and your primary reason for being outdoors is hunting and not dicking around at camp.
