Wood acts as a suspension, filtering out high-frequency vibrations, so it's way more comfortable than wobbly pvc.
Get a cheap longboard, put in good ball bearings, and you're good.
If you have tools/ a friend into woodworking have the board done with 5 to 7 maple laminate crossgrained, there are a lot of tutorials online.
