>>1287625When I normally mix a little /p/ into my /out/ I just use my phone camera because I like it's large megapixel range, wonderful macro shot capabilities, and manual mode. Panorama mode is also quite handy for those hilltop and mountaintop shots.
That being said, I'm also a bit of a retard and for those special a e s t h e t i c shots/tangible memories I sometimes haul around a Polaroid instant camera with an extra pack of film. Yes, it's bulky and fragile. Yes, I'm paying per shot more or the same than some full power rifle calibers ($20 USD about for a roll of 8 exposures leads to about $2.50 a shot. For comparison, UMC Remington 303 British goes for around $20 in my area for a box of twenty, so about $1.00 a shot). No, I don't really mind because, I'm a sucker for esoteric technologies and aesthetic.
Pic related are two of mine--the left is a Polaroid Spectra AF, the right is a Polaroid SX-70. The SX-70 is the one I normally haul because it folds up to the most portable size--about the size of a small clutch purse or an overstuffed breastcoat wallet. Picture quality on both is nice--the Spectra is cool because you can take portrait-orientation photos without the camera ergonomics going completely bonkers on you and the autofocus ability takes out the guesstimating focusing range I have to do with the SX-70 due to its simple glass rangefinder lens.
