>>2058671It’s all serial killers, cougars, forgotten mines/caves and opportunistic killers that are behind all of these missing people in the woods.
That being said, two times I heard my name being called while I was splitting wood rounds.
>turned around expecting to see someone I knew but there was nobody. >same area of the woods two years later. >dropping some trees in January for next years firewood. >There was a few inches of snow on the ground and the crisp, silent air that comes with it.>Having just turned off my chainsaw, but still having my ear muffs on, I heard a woman’s voice behind me. >I was close enough to the house that my wife could have been bringing me a sandwich or hot coffee. >I turned around while removing my ear muffs and nobody was there. >startled me and made me feel nauseous and very anxious. I felt dread. >This hadn’t happened the first time. >I glanced around me in all directions. >see nothing, I sort of held my breath to hear better. >heard my name again further off in the woods. >packed up my chainsaw, gas, bar oil and walked out the quickest way possible >off any paths and through the trees and undergrowth. >told my wife what happened but underplayed my own fear. >She jokingly said it was wood spirits mad at me for harvesting trees>We live in a different house now, but still own that property. I’d spend the night /out/ there if I could find another grown up to go. As crazy as it sounds, I’d like to see if I would hear anything again.
