>>1240462>>1240861i have a 3 year old and my wife and i actually camp more now than we did before he was born. he's been tent camping in the sierra since he was barely over a year old. as far as he knows that's just what you do when you have a few days off om a row. in may my brother and i are taking him backpacking for real. he even has his own little backpack. we're just going to walk until he's done and make camp there. it'll probably be about 2 1/2 miles, based on how far he goes on dayhikes.
