I've used a Black Diamond Mega Mid a lot, it's pretty similar. It's pretty similar to your setup, just a little more basic. I love that style of tent, but it's not for everyone and isn't freestanding. When I got married I got the bathtub floor for it and it changed it from an awesome lightweight shelter into a regular weight okay tent.

My trusty Megamid is no more, and I need a replacement. I'm considering the MegaLight or Mountain Laurel Supermid. Any one have any experience with either of these? Does anyone know how they compare to the Megamid? I'm also considering the hubba hubba (or whatever its called) because a freestanding tent does have its advantages.

Any other recommendations also appreciated, so I guess tent general.
