I've lived in Southern Nevada for 31 years and there isn't really much to ghost towns. You probably know about Rhyolite near Beatty and that's about the most complete ghost town in Nevada.
There's Goldfield but people still live there. You might try Belmont in the Monitor Valley and the Hess Ranch in the Reese River Valley both north of Tonopah. I would stay out of mines, especially if I were going solo.
Watch out for nails and if you want to explore abandoned building bring a face mask so you don't get the hantavirus.
