>>1706450Determinate cultivars won't need as much staking and won't grow as long. They sorta turn into bushes. Indeterminate are the ones that grow forever and need more staking. You could also get some dwarf/bush determinate cultivars like, "Koralik," "Small Fry," "Better Bush," "Elfin," "Cherry Grande," and, "Patio."
You can also just put the tomato plant in one of those upside down hanging planters. No staking needed there.
