>>643334They fit well with a pair of thick woolen socks (I stole about 100 pairs of 1930s pure woolen Swedish army socks whilst working with a surplus company lol). I never ever got blisters from them as the leather was (and still is) very soft. Your feet do get very hot in these boots, but it's a sensation you get used to. I'm not exactly sure how long I've worn them for, but I've worn them in way over 30 different camping/hiking trips, many many reenactments etc.
Remember they were bought surplus, so these boots also saw hundreds of parades and drills in their time.
