The silicone and flex seal combo is working great so far. While out today I did notice that I had some little stowaways, ants. I don't think they'll be an issue, but I might blast some ants spray up into the bow and stern gunwales if I feel like it's a problem. There's a few ant hills in my backyard so I assume that's where they came from.
