>>2015777I might recommend this bag?
https://drop.com/buy/drop-granite-gear-crown-x60A lot cheaper, still a great bag and a really good price.
I'd recommend paying extra for lightweight
>Tent>Sleeping bagI head you don't want to listen to ultralight fags, and i hear you, but having a modicum of consideration for your pack weight will make your life better.
A down puffy will be your best friend. Packs into nothing, exceptionally warm. Easy to stuff away and then unpack in a jiffy.
I would also be careful with trail runners. If you're used to them its one thing but mile after mile, you might want some more support than the literal none that trail runners provide.
Do you have plans for changing seasons? Or just hike with all your clothes on you at all times?
But good luck either way, I personally think you should aim for a hike less than half of the PCT because you might really be getting in over your head and might permanently injure yourself. You sound a bit depressed and impulsive, as well as a classic tough guy. Kind of a perfect recipe to ignore injuries and grind yourself into the dirt.
Like, if you took this time off and hike a 500 mile trail you would have an idea wtf you are doing and still blow your mind. But i'm a slow steady kind of guy, so what ever.
I hope you post here if you actually end up hiking something
