>>84819Perfect application for it then. I just hate the "quadtards" that give them a bad name... they do nothing but dusty donuts in the parking lot, spraying all the vehicles there with rocks, tearing up the trails, etc.
My parents bought an '11 Grizzly 700 for use around ther property, and pulling spreader/grader for the horse arena. Seems to do well for what they bought it for, I haven't heard anything good or bad about it from them yet.
Owners manual can be downloaded from the manufacturer. Service manuals are worth having if you do your own work (which I'd recommend if you're halfway mechanically inclined... shops are expen$ive).
I have a PDF copy of owners/shop manuals on my phone/computers. I've also printed off the important pages (torque specs, wiring diagrams, frequently-referenced pages) and put them in page protectors in a 3-ring binder... I call it my "garage bible". On the trail I can work off of or reference the copies on my phone, in the garage/trailer it's nice to have a big-ish paper copy instead of greasing up my phone. And since they're in page protectors, they wipe clean (pic related, my generator).
Keep up on maintenance. I send oil samples out to Blackstone to get an idea of how long I can actually go on an oil change, and catch unusual wear before it gets expensive. Valves on a 4t, air filter, grease all the joints, clean/oil the chain, clean the carb, etc.
