>>1633834It was Trump, I can’t remember what irrelevant animal it was (a gecko maybe?) but a law was passed against controlled burning and clearing all the brush in general so that the ecosystem for this little bastards doesn’t get fucked with. As far as I can tell however the little cunts are fucked since it all burned down anyways, Californian politics are pants on head fucking crazy and people still continue to vote for the people in charge. I unfortunately live in the rural parts of the state so I barely get to meet any of these people but I would love to just sit one down and ask them how the current legislature concerning controlled burns and the forestry service in general helps anyone. I would also like to ask them how firearm legislation does anything from stopping criminals in the urban areas from acquiring firearms considering we border three states with loose gun laws and have an unsecured border with a country that has criminals armed with many weapons given to them by the previous administration. I would also like to ask them how current laws concerning the homeless, drug crime epidemic is working considering it’s gotten worse in the past couple years.
