For Canadians especially this is true because the price of fishing gear is heavily impacted by dollar to dollar trading value with the US. buy fishing gear right now with liberals in power and sorry to say in an /out/ thread when maybe this belongs in /pol/ but that gear will depreciate in value when cons come to power and there is a chance at a stronger dollar fishing gear was 30% less across the board when harper was in power.
