>>1247820When I took it back to the mechanic, he told me that the engine mount problem was caused by two fuel injector nozzles not firing properly, causing juddering.
He also found an oil leak from the alternator, caused by the alternator being mounted improperly, which had in turn destroyed the bearing on its drive shaft, and chewed up the mounting hole on the engine side bracket, so a new alternator, and some engineering of the bracket had to be done.
The leaks had also caused contamination of the timing belt, which also needed replacement.
Last week I took it for a spin even though I'm still in the process of getting the license and noticed it makes a whining noise at more than 30mph. (The top speed is 45mph).
So it turns out the differential also needs to be looked at or replaced.
And the fucking steering wheel is too heavy to turn as well. I can barely turn it with two hands,
Why does it need seven full fucking turns of the wheel for a complete lock?
I've spent thousands on it and not even begun a conversion. The job breakdown in the invoice was insane.
I think I'm going to trade for that Fiat Ducato now.
