Tried out a new spot this evening on Lake Ontario. Got there and started throwing a silver and blue Little Cleo, followed by a Yo-Zuri 3DS Minnow in Mullet. Finally went back to the Husky Jerk (HJ10) in Glass Perch and caught the pike unexpectedly. Ditched the wire leader and tied straight to 12lb Sunline Sniper fluorocarbon, guess I got lucky and wasn't cut off.
On a related note, my Yo-Zuri lures cast so much better than any of my Rapalas which tend to tumble in the air. Was surprised I could consistently cast that 1/4oz 3DS Minnow like a bullet.
