I like that it combines history and geography and you kinda have to research that to find a lot of these places. I always find urbex to be a serene and surreal experience. I enjoy the long car rides to get to them too. Last May when I was still NEET I went on a spontaneous solo road trip to the Grand Canyon from eastern Washington State and made a lot of ghost town stops and have some pretty cool pictures.
