Went bass fishing for the first time of my life in friends 0 pressure pond of about 2 acres and caught 6 of pic related and 10 or so 5-7 inch sunfish/bluegill on a jig with rubber grub. Could there be larger bass? How to target them? I cant cast close to the center of the pond with anything but my catfishing rods and 1/2 of the shore is completely blocked by huge overhanging pine trees. Would taking a boat to that side/ the middle result in larger bass? Im pretty sure the whole pond bottom is covered in a forest of soft weeds several feet tall.
