>be me about 9 y/o>visit moms family on country side>grandpa owns a big ass piece of land and a farm with lots of hills and parts of it are deep in the woods>been hiking and playing in woods with cousins since we were like 5 so we pretty much know it like the back of our hand>deep in the forest we see what looks like a small stone castle coming out of a hill side>looks old as fuck, has tres tree coming out of it in some parts>it’s like 18ft tall and has a tower that is a few ft taller so maybe like 20 ft overall>has what seems like an entrance about 3ft tall a 2ft wide>looks very deep and dark>we are messing around it and after a while we think this could collapse on top of us if we mess up>we go back and tell the rest of the cousins while gramps is talking with my mom and dad in the kitchen>we agree to come back to it the next day with the rest of the cousins>next day>we head back>get to part of the woods where we saw it>there’s the hill>but no castle>cousins get mad and say we made it all up>return to the rest of the family>go go grandpa>vaguely tell him that we saw a castle yesterday but couldn’t find it now>he looks at me a bit concerned>says “the small one with stone walls and a tower?”>I just nod>he says when he first bought the land he hiked and camped all through it so he could get to it>says he was walking along the riverside and saw it between some trees near the outline of the property>kept on hiking and returned to the spot after 2 days with lanterns and tools to see if he can get inside of it>it’s no longer there>says he hasn’t seen it since>tell him this time it looked like it half inside of the hill>looks concerned tells me and the rest of the kids to keep it a secret not mess with and walk away if we ever find it again >it’s been 12 years since and I’ve never seen it againWhat do you guys think it was?
