>>2066492I came upon a 70 something year old man on a popular trail in the middle of summer. He was very obviously suffering from heat exhaustion, possibly heat stroke. He was sitting in a tiny bit of shade under a tiny tree. He asked if I had any water I could spare. I told him I was completely out myself (I had 1.5 liters left). I knew he was done for and he wasn’t worth helping. There were other people on the trail that probably helped him. I was focused on my goal and I had no time for him. I moved on without any regrets.
