The only time i had issue with wet feet is when I arrived at a flooded junction that I had to cross to get to the other side of where i needed to go. The river next to it overflowed, turned the entire junction into basically a swamp. All the way down to my knees in some spots. I wouldn't do it again though looking back on it unless i bring a second pair of shoes and socks.
Anyway small mud puddles, snow, streams? absolutely. Snow patches though can be deceiving so i'd probably always probe it before you step and realize it sinks in down to your knees, but that's a minor annoyance. Nothing like water crossings.
