>>842953Normally, you size the split ring to the gap and pound test you need. They can be small to pretty big. It depends on the lure. Size #3 heavy duty would be .296" Outside Diameter and 60lbs test for instance. The higher the number the larger they get. The thicker the wire they use the more pound test they can handle.
