The mountain was almost deserted though. I saw some old couples walking around near the base and a pair of hikers coming down, but other than them, I was on my own.
I guess after the road got put in, no one bothered climbing from the bottom anymore because all of the shrines on the way up are in worse states of disrepair as you go up. Great hike though.
