>>1513385Yeah my friend was up there with his flaslight. We were recreating a pic that we took a couple years earlier that ended up being cool so with a new camera we though wtf, do it again! I was standing on a frozen stream in both instances, with water still rushing beneath the ice. Managed not to break through but the second time I did get one foot really wet. Was worth it.
As for uni, yes generally BUT it was a really intense masters degree, so I wasn't really mingling with the general uni crowd at all, just writing shitloads of papers and spending all my time in clinics and hospitals. We didn't even get the study breaks or semester breaks that the rest of the uni got. I do have friends into camping but not what I'm used to doing... they're more a "book a cabin in the mountains, drive out, and do the same thing we do at home except sitting comfortably in front of a fire" crowd. I like to grab my gear and some beers and go adventuring through the night and come home sometime the next day.
