Got the garden in. 120 cinder blocks and 5 yards of soil. Beds are lined with two layers of cardboard and then a partially composted mix of straw/chicken manure from our hens. Two beds are at 12'x3.5' and two are at 20'x3.5'. We have space for two more 12 footers and another 20 footer. Technically could do more but past the patio is our septic field and I didn't want to disturb it too much.
Our yard is relatively shady so we're gonna see what we can do. I think we'll still be able to get tomatoes, for instance, but they probably won't be going gangbusters.
