The wood I used was greenwood so it was pretty easy.

>>539907for my beermug I carved it out with my hook knife about 75 percent of the way down but i wasn't able to finish it with the knife because it wasn't long enough so I put some hot coals in the cup to burn out the bottom the rest of the way then used a sanding extension on a drill to clean out the bottom.
