>>788075Hmm, the Pflueger Trion setup doesn't look too bad. Miami Anon's man got one of those Trion reels and it looks decent, I think she prefers it to her Sienna. There isn't a ton on Cabela's website in that range. They have the Ugly Stik GX2 like everybody else, but you will want to upgrade the reel within a month. I saw they have a Berkley Lightning Rod combo for $60 or something and those are decent rods but I would have to see the reel IRL to judge it.
$10 above your price range and you could grab the Pflueger President combo. Size 30 I believe if you want to do bass and general lake fishing. There is also pic related which looks really nice, as well as some new Quantum combo for $80 but if you do a Quantum, make sure you do your research and read some reviews. Quantums are normally good but they have had a couple reel models in the past that had problems.
Btw, are you buying online or in-store? I would suggest going to the store to make sure you really like it and get a size you like.
