I went fishing yesterday and accidentally hooked a bass in the gills. I was excited when reeling him in because he was the first one I caught that day, but when I finally got him in my hands, I was shocked when I saw he was bleeding a lot. I managed to remove pic related, but the damage was done. Poor fish must've been hungry cause I started reeling the moment I felt him but I guess I just wasn't quick enough to set the hook. Jesus please forgive me. I just want to hold fish in my hand and admire them, not hurt them.
