This is the gear I currently have in it. Things like the big first aid kit and can be replaced with something else but I just needed to fill up the space. I have a simple foam sleeping mat and my sleeping bag is inside.
I know I'm missing essintials like a compass, fishing lines, light source, water container, water purifier like lifestraw and obviously food. Also a small tent but I haven't found one I like yet. But outside of that how could I improve it?
I feel like I have too many big items which doesn't allow space for smaller essential items, but at the same time things like the extra clothes feel necessary in this cold and wet climate. The pack is pretty big (40L) but I feel like I'm wasting a lot of the space. I still have space in the side pockets but don't know what to put there
