I am a bit worry about the water level on my Kratky method experiment. I always assumed it was ok to refill (so I did not calculate all lifetime needs of the plants and sized my buckets accordingly) as long as you leave some roots exposed to air but I have been reading that the recommended thing to do is to let it consume all nutrient and then harvest and that refilling will mostly not work and the roots will rot if you try. Right now they have consumed about 1/4 of the water so I doubt they will have enough for its entire life cycle.
