>>875766>$1.50Nah man, did you read what I wrote? Thin ass Eagle Claws are $3 for a 5pk of 3/0 worm hooks. 60¢ is a lot for that shitty piece of wire. Mid-grade hooks like Gamakatsu or VMC end up at 80¢ to $1 per hook, and higher end hooks are close to $2 per hook.
I did admit though, the retailer and the brand both need to make something on these little hooks, and after shipping and packaging and overhead, it wouldn't be worth it to sell them for a 10¢ profit.
I'm talking about plain 1/0 to 5/0 worm hooks, nothing special. I'm sure you can get them for much, much cheaper buying in bulk online but the recreatonal fisherman doesn't need 300 2/0 worm hooks at once.
