It looks especially gross on small framed skinny guys like me. My dad had a gross beach ball gut that made him look pregnant by the time I was in high school, I was really embarrassed to be seen with him, and I even told my dad I'd rather kill myself than lever look like he does. At the same time, I was in the closet about my sexual attraction to fat girls at school. I got super aroused whenever I would see their gut and side rolls spilling over in class, and thought there was something wrong with me because I'm supposed to like skinny girls. Fast forward to now, and I have strong flat abs I maintain with simple exercises, like standing crunches and side kicks, and I have no shame about liking women who are the opposite, fat and soft all over including a big belly. Not this monstrosity though.
