>>2494519I did the Presidentials over 3 days once and it was the bees tits. Started an Pinkham, went up King Ravine and stayed a Madison Spring Hut which was absolutely wonderful. Such a great spot and they really feed the shit out of you (we booked ahead) and it was lovely. Next day was up and over Adams which was beautiful. Very foggy as is typical. Around the Great Gulf and up and over Washington. Got some clam chowder and had an old lady with a walker push ahead of me in the chow line. Then we stayed at Lakes of the Clouds and there was a horrendous lightning storm which was pure magic. Then down Crawford past Mizpah and and pickup at the highway. The visibility the last day was just a few feet so Crawford Path was spoopy as fuck, because you'd be doddling around the trail and then the clouds would part and suddenly you realized you were walking along the edge of a cliff and didn't even know it.
9/10 would do again were I ever to have the chants
