100% stainless steel, can be put ontop of a fire, all nests nicely together. I also stuck a thin sheet of aluminium in there to use as a windguard/thing to hide the fire from sight, and also another smaller cup on top. and it all slots together real nice as i said, fits neatly into the side pocket of my backpack.
I have used it very intensively for 5 years, still going strong. had a problem with the old model of lid, but the newer model is fine.
