>>226134Austria. As for the stories... I don't have any super epic suffer stories but on was quite funny.
I climbed this west face in winter. Not really big, 800m elevation on snow and some ice, moderate angle. I know mountain range a bit but not really well. So I start up at dawn, clear cold day and everythings is perfect. Climbing is nice and conditions are bomber. I am only meters away from the summit and I begin to hear voices. I was suprised because I thought nobody would be on the mountain this early, in winter. As I topped out I saw 20 skiers stare at me, ice tools still pulling up and just than I relaized I was in a local ski resort (to which I too have been to). I wished a good morning and was super stoaked to know there was a caple car i could use to get down. So I walked along the slopes for half an hour and the sevice guy even let me ride for free.
I solo a bit, rock and ice, but nothing hardcore. I just like to be totaly light and moving on my own pace with nothing holding me back. Soundy cheesy, I know.
