And step up just a bit from the price of that Colt and get yourself a Case sodbuster. You'll be glad you did, they're quality knives and you can get one with brown, blue or yellow delrin handles in either size and with stainless or chrome-vanadium steel blade for less than $30 at
amazon.com. I'm partial to the skinning blade as well, it's great for general use and not as intimidating to people who don't know knives as a clip or drop or other pointier point.
