personally i dont know why people dont like kbars, yes they have a rattail, but iv heard people here say they have broken in half, or bent, i simply dont see that happening unless ur greatly miss using your knife. if im out more than a day, id have 3 blades. my hatchet, my kbar, and some smaller knife.
