In the middle I have sown corn, on the right I am going to plant watermelon which I have started inside, and then cover it with mulch, and do the same on the left with pumpkins. Hoping the vined plants grow over the mulch. Underneath the fabric I have dug out clay and poor soil and filled it with vegetable compost and potting soil. I did the same in the middle for the corn.
The patch gets afternoon sun starting at like noon, bound to be earlier as days lengthen.
