>>1215290I'd highly recomend a pair of brasher country walker boots they cost me about 100gbp and so far have been fantastic on my hiking adventures since I brought them about a month ago.
But heres my overall verdict of them:
>They are almost entierly water proof to the point you can walk through streams and come out with dry feet on the other side.>The quality is brilliant the leather, fastenings, stiching and seams are top notch military grade if not better.>they offer a great amount of all round ankle support whilst retaining the breatheability and not feeling too clunkly like others I've owned.>The inner comfort is amazing blisters and black toe nails are non existant provided they are tied right and have the correct fitting.>The grip on the tread is amazing snow, pretty much vertical muddy faces and muddy puddled bog like paths are easily traversed with minimal slipping, twisting and loss of grip.>They can even double up as a casual boot under a pair of jeans or trousers as they don't look like autist shoes compared to many others. They may seem alot compared to other cheaper equivalents yet your better off spending that little more and not regretting buying cheap horrible nasty boots that will put you off going outdoors.
