I was hiking around in the local forrest and decided to go check out this small rocky and swampy island I had been looking at on a map. I got there and out of interest started looking for a suitable place for a tent, bivy or even just a sleeping pad. It would have been impossible to camp anywhere near there without a hammock.
Really had a blast. It was like my own private island for the night. It’s funny that my only concern when going camping is that there are 2 suitable trees somewhere and that tere isn’t too much overgrowth between them. Hammocks are great.
