I actually carry around a ronson lighter. my gramps had a bunch in a box and I cleaned and fixed a few. They don't really lose fuel as fast as zippos. But they don't last super long. Maybe the longest was 3 weeks as a smoker for me. The flame is a lot better for fire starting IMO than a bic. This one shown is cool in that it has a pull up wind guard.
My other choice would be to have some babybel cheese for snacks and just make a simple candle from the wax to light off a bic to conserve it. You could probably last a long time doing that. I keep a small length of cotton string in my pack just for this reason. You can also make sap candles like this.
